NEW IMPROVED 2010 MODEL

SureFlap cat flaps recognise the ID chip already implanted in your cat, allowing access for your pet and making unwanted visitors a thing of the past. Your home becomes a secure enviroment for your pet leading to a happier more relaxed animal.

Operation:

Operation of SureFlap couldn’t be simpler. Once the unit is installed and the batteries put in place, the flap can be put into learn mode. The next time your cat passes through the flap, the unique ID code of its chip is put into memory. Now SureFlap unlocks whenever your cat wants to come into the house.

Multiple cats are no problem. Up to 32 cats can be programmed into the flap at the same time.

Battery Life:

Typical battery life is greater than 6-months. A low battery indicator is provided to tell you when replacement batteries are needed. Batteries not included (4x AA Batteries required)

Manual Locking:

The 4-way manual lock allows you to lock the door in any combination of in/out. For example vet mode allows your cat to enter the house but keeps him inside for the next trip to the vet.

Mounting:

Instructions are provided for mounting in all door types. A template that shows the hole size required for SureFlap together with the outer dimensions may be downloaded here:

If you have double glazing a new double glazed sealed unit will be needed as you cannot cut a hole in your existing double glazed panel. What an excellent cat-flap. We'd been plagued by a tom-cat coming-in through the previous flap, spraying, bullying our little 'Fluffers' and eating her food. So, we had her micro-chipped, fitted the Sureflap and... problem solved. It took half a day to persuade her to go out through it by herself and a day & half to persuade her to come in by herself (with the aid of biscuit treats). A week later and she's using it with no problems. Fitting it was very easy as the hole was already there from the previous cat-flap (through UPVC wall of our conservatory). The worst part of fitting was trying to undo the 4 small rusted nuts & bolts on the old 17 year old flap. That took up the first hour, then fitting the new flap took 10-15 minutes. We've already recommended the Sureflap (& Impact Glazing) to 2 friends. Word of caution - our local vet now fits micro-chips with 16 chips (the literature says Sureflap does not work with this). However, he managed to find a 15 chip version for Fluffe..

After our two cats were terrorised by a neighbours cat coming in through our normal cat flap and eating their food, I decided to get the sureflap, and I, and my cats, are very pleased with it. It stops any other cats getting in, and was easy to fit, my cats got used to it straight away, and we have had no further problems with other cats. Delivery was very quick, and customer services were brilliant when I needed to contact them. Great product, and great service!

Fitted perfectly into hole from previous cat flat. It took one cat seconds to get used to it and the other a day but she is older and nervous. No more visitors to munch their food and bring fleas in. Well worth the investment considering my young cat is only one year old. It will save me a fortune over the next few years. Neither cat can keep a collar on so the other electronic cat flats were not an option. Best price around too.
