Glass patterns can be Etched or Obscure. Etched Glass Impact Glazing can supply all types of etched glass from custom work to standard.
We are able to copy company logos and etch them into glass and mirrors. We also apply vinyl etched plastic to imitate glass etching, this is cheaper version of etched glass but still effective.
If you would like custom etching on glass like logos ect, a template would need to be sent via email to us.
The standard patterns below can all be used in double glazed sealed units. Standard Examples Royal Fleur Druids Cross Etched Victoria Gem Star Shrewsbury Fleur Regent Selwyn Silbeck Custom Etched Examples
Obscured Glass The pictures below are all standard Pilkington obscure patterns. Below the picture is the name of the pattern and the level of obscurity, level 1 being least obscure and level 5 being the most obscure. You can click on the brochure in the left menu to view the patterns in more detail. If you would like a brochure sent to you just email us or phone and we will send one out.
If you cannot find the pattern you require this may mean it has been discontinued by Pilkington Glass, but it may still be available from our suppliers, so if you can give a good description over the phone we will do our best to track it down for you. Obscured Glass Information Pilkingtons original designs have five levels of privacy:
LEVEL 1 = LEAST OBSCURE
LEVEL 5 = MOST OBSCURE
HOW IS PATTERN GLASS MADE?
Patterned glass is a not-perfectly-smooth structure with different patterns impressed on it. The depth, size and shape of the patterns largely determine the magnitude and direction of reflection. Patterned glass usually transmits only slightly less light than clear glass. It can be used for a variety of applications: interior design and decorations, furniture, windows, street furniture etc. Arctic -Level 4 Autumn -Level 3 charcoal_sticks -Level 4 Chantilly -Level 2 Contora -Level 4 Cotswold -Level 5 digital -Level 3 Everglade -Level 5 Flemish -Level 2 Florielle -Level 4 Linkon -discontinued Mayflower -Level 4 Minster -Level 2 Oak -Level 4 Pelerine -Level 5 Stippolyte -Level 4 Sycamore -Level 3 Taffeta -Level 3 Warwick* -Level 1 (*Due to the nature of the manufacturing process, the pattern Warwick is completely random and no two pieces are the same) |
