Filmglaze is a low cost economical DIY secondary glazing kit. It is very simple to use only requiring a sharp knife and hairdryer to install. A double sided adhesive tape that is included in the pack is placed around the window to be glazed and the special film is then stuck firmly to this.
With the help of a normal hair dryer the wrinkles in the film are heated out to leave a tight skin of film over the window frame which in turn lowers noise and reduces heat loss.
